Wow!! What a HOT issue of Wink Up this month! Nearly had a heartattack in the supermarket when I saw this!! Sorry as usual that I can only take photos with my camera and not scan them... but you get the picture (literally!)

Plus - Random musings on Maou episode 8... OMG!!!! Can O-Chan seriously get any hotter!? I love his look in this episode where he gets his fire back after he's been straying on the path of humanity and becoming someone more or less normal. How gay was the fireworks scene!!? I was caught between 'O-chan! Kawaii!!' and laughing at the sheer cheesiness of it! At the end of this episode, I really wondered what they are gonna do for the next 3... How will they conclude this all!? Guess I'll have to wait and see.

This was seriously the best episode of the series. It had so much in it. When Ohno said that this drama would become more human as it went on, he wasn't kidding. Ohno did such a beautiful job in this episode - he has layered his character in such an interesting way. The scene between him and Yuka was wonderful - the tears that he shed were so genuine and really broke your heart. Turns out Yuka's character knew all along that he wasn't her brother - but she went along with the pretence because of the kindness he showed her. As he is leaving the room (looking very distressed) she calls his (fake) name and wishes him 'Happy Birthday' - all choked up he finally replies 'Thank you, sister' (I just about died here!!)

Another great bit was when Toma said he wanted to talk to the sister more - Ohno's reaction was so interesting - for the first time we see an emotional anger, not the calculated kind we only seen so far, but a real flare up that he seems to instantly regret.

As for the end - Naruse ends up crying on Shiori's shoulder - I wish he had at least dropped his breifcase!! He seems inseparable from that thing... even though he appears to do no work whatsoever!!

I seriously hate waiting for the next episode!!!

Finally got to see the drama I've been waiting for tonight... MAOU!!

First things first - the title song is just TOO good!! Very Ohno-based in the vocals and the chorus is a killer!

So to the drama - the first episode was basically a set up of both the characters - we got to see exactly why Ohno has become a 'Maou' and why he has it in for Toma...

I was very distracted for at least the first 30 minutes because I was just constantly shouting, 'God Damn Ohno!! You're HOT!!!' There were many close ups not to mention him in the shower and then getting dressed! Toma didn't fair badly either in the looks department - it has to be said he spent most of the episode either running or shouting though.

The last 15 minutes or so really did it for me though - the story kind of pulled together and got me intrigued for the next episode. Also Ohno showed some emotion with a good bit of crying! And his smile in the last scene... [shivers!]

As for Nino in the first episode - Oh My God - he was in it for like 30 seconds!! But him pushing Riida against the wall... I was like 'KISS HIM!!'  I really hope he appears again as it was all too short.

Now I have to wait another week to see the next episode... [Sighs!]

Ahh!! I've been waiting for this since I heard about it!! Ikuta & O-Chan together! I had to really rush home from work pretty fast in time to catch the beginning - but I made it! They looked so cute!! I keep noticing recently something under O-Chan's left eye - everytime I see him interviewed I notice it... I never noticed it in the past before - It's like a mole or something!?

Anyway... As for the results.. It started with the wall crash - O-Chan reminded us that last time he played his shoe came off so he said 'This time I really tied my shoes up tightly!!' He only managed 10 points last time and his first go here - he didn't do much better (40 points), but it was better that Toma's try! He fell off the wall altogether! BUT O-Chan cleared it on his second try (Toma didn't!). The next game was the Never Wipe Out game where they have to roll a ball onto 5 or 6 levels and into a basket. On their 3rd go they actually broke the ball in half!!! The host said that that was the first time in the show's history that that had ever happened - the boys looked quite happy about it! But it wasn't a clear... After many attempts they cleared the game on the final try - and they HUGGED! So cute!

Next game was the Chu Chu Buster one where they basically bash the crap out of dolls. Toma was so funny on his go - he was just bashing nothing! Useless! But anyway, they cleared it (giri giri!). Next was the Quiz Picture game... not that interesting but O-Chan's knowledge of fish was funny! The ones he couldn't get he said it was because he had never caught them. Cleared again. Then the grand slam... NOT CLEARED!! I totally blame Toma for this! It was always him letting the shots in and he never got a goal either! So they couldn't get their holiday to Euro Disney!

As for the finale... They showed the special prize of the car that they could get one each of - O-Chan looked like, 'Who cares! I can't drive! Just gimme the fishing shit!!' Toma's choice of prizes was a TV and Blu Ray player and O-Chan'd was fishing stuff and a boat (dhingy to be exact). O-Chan was up first and he won the TV and said Toma could have it. Next was Toma and he won a scrubbing brush! O-Chan again, he got another TV!!! Then Toma who also got a TV!!! So O-chan ended up with a TV and Toma got 2!

God I wished it was a 2hr special! I could have watched those boys forever... anyway, I've still got SxS and Arashi No Shukudai Kun to look forward to tonight. Not to mention MAOU on Friday! ARRRGGHHHH!!!!!!

Saw this on You Tube... You can hear Arashi's song for Maou in the background!! It sounds very catchy and Ohno-full! It's more upbeat than I thought it would be... but Arashi really do upbeat the best so I'm not complaining.

This video not only has a quick clip of the song but also a VERY pissed looking Ohno when one of the cast member's mistakes him for being a V6 member!! PRICELESS!!

Another week has past and of course there's been a slew of Maou & Hanadan features. FYI - I watched the Hanadan TBS special that was on today... if you get the chance - You should DEFINITELY watch this!! It was so much fun!

Anyway - I've taken some crappy quality shots of TV LIFE which has much the same kind of Maou photoshoots as every other mag out (Come on! Originality people!!! Where are the Ohno x Toma shirtless shots!!?). But in the mag was a character chart that details all the relationships (sorry, it's not a very clear shot!). And also a random but cute Mao x Jun shot.
